At least AC Milan's hopes of starting this season with much more enthusiasm are even higher. They've made several signings that are actually quite good. At the very least, they're strengthening their squad, both in terms of playing ability and mentality.

Well, at the start, in their first Coppa Italia match, AC Milan managed to win against Bari 2-1. Luca Modric made his first appearance in this league, as a substitute, and only came on in the 66th minute.
No one doubts Modric's quality; he's one of the best midfielders in the world. However, his advancing age will significantly impact his performance and physical quality, so I believe his contribution is somewhat less than optimal.
There's no definitive proof for AC Milan, but I've seen the arrivals and departures of several players in their squad not make them stronger, so I'm a little pessimistic about AC Milan.

right @barisbilgili, i agree with you, Modric's quality is indisputable but age advances for everyone, even for him, and it could affect his performances and if it doesn't affect them it could cause problems with physical fitness and injuries
This is the risk of having older players, we just have to take note of it
Looks like Milan didn't consider your points before going for Modric. A club should go for a younger player who will play for long in the club. When a young player is growing, he improves in skills and quality but for old players, they become weaker and lose their pace as they grow older. Gone are the days when old players were the best due to experience. Currently, the younger players gat it all.
Nowadays there is no player who will play long time for a club, especially in Italy that, at this point, for many players is just a stepping stone before moving to England, PSG, or some other big club. Before Modric Milan had Reijnders, excellent player, young, and yet he's been sold after only 3 years, why? Because he was becoming too good for Milan and for Serie A.
This is a misconception, I can still show many players who have been playing for a club for a long time. If the club a player signs for is good and if those clubs do not create problems in terms of financial transactions, then there is no problem for that player to stay in that club. There were some players from Real Madrid who have already left Real Madrid, you can see how long they played for Real Madrid. Not only Real Madrid, Manchester United will be added to the list, Manchester City will be added as well as Barcelona will be added. The English Premier League is currently more popular than the Italian League, so if a big club in the English Premier League offers a large amount of money to a player from a club in the Italian League, it is natural that that player will go to a big club in the English Premier League.
