With the squad depth overhaul carried out by Massimiliano Allegri, it's highly likely that AC Milan will be a contender for the Scudetto this season. Signing Boniface was a great move, and I think he will be even more prolific than Gimenez this season. His transfer fee also wasn't too high, and it seems he will live up to expectations.
However, I'm surprised why Ten Hag is letting one good player after another from the Xabi Alonso era leave. It appears the former Manchester United manager wants to completely rebuild the Leverkusen squad to create his ideal version.
I will keep my fingers crossed on this one for AC Milan this season for an improved change in their performance if they could be counted among the Scudetto contenders, although I doubt but like I said, I am keeping fingers crossed on them.
I am also asking similar question about why Bayer Leverkusen's coach Erik Ten Hag is letting his talented players to leave, couldn't he have convinced them to remain and work with him. I am scared for what Leverkusen strength in the bundesliga may look like this season.
