Bruno Fernandez contribution was superb last season, without him United wouldn't have made it to the finals in UEL. I know that United wouldn't sell him out despite the fact that his name was in the offloading list. He is still very useful in the club and plays with passion. He is the only player that was putting his best to make sure that the club moves forward in recent times.
Bruno Fernandez has made a lot of good contributions for Manchester United but he has played for this club in wrong time. No matter how many goals, assists, and key passes he has contributed for the club, he has failed to succeed with them. No titltes, and no solid position in top four of Premier League, no fair recognition from Manchester United fans. However, he has done what he can do best and has nothing to feel regretful from what he has shown so far for the club.
He is a very good player and I would say that he is in his prime, but things can be very tough if we look at them from another perspective , they haven't won anything, they haven't been able to do anything for many seasons, they are in the toughest league of all, or it is considered that it continues like this, they can't stay in such high positions any longer , they are looking for a prolonged relegation, that must change.
His prime does not coincide with golden era of Manchester United but with one of worst era in their club history especially after Sir Alex Ferguson era. Last summer, many rumor that Manchester United considered to sell him for money and also for rebuilding their squad. Eventually they did not sell him, and the player decided to stay with the club too.
Ruben Amorim and his players shown some good signals in a first match of season with Arsenal so hopefully they can turn early positive signals to good performances and achieve excellent results in coming matches.
