Harvard economist Kenneth Rogoff admitted that he was wrong with his prediction. But it did take him 7 years to admit he's wrong. And probably took his time though and come to his senses that Bitcoin will go and compete with any other assets that is known to man.

He never said he was wrong about Bitcoin. Still sees Bitcoin as what he saw it decade ago
What he admits being wrong about is the government stance
We all know his prediction was wrong, he's trying to justify why he was wrong
And almost felt like Bitcoin success was because the government allowed Bitcoin to succeed.
I still can't understand who ask those people about their opinion after confirming their opinions made years ago were totally wrong. All his statement is nonsense bullshit that nobody in need for. He is not a decision maker, neither an important influencer so better to ignore all his ideas concerning emerging technologies in general. Some people didn't believe the climate change for long time until they get their envirenment destroyed so he decided to change his opinion and let down his arrogance for a while.
