It can be a split draw similar to what you have said, it can also be a unanimous draw where all of the judges have declared a draw or it can be a majority draw where 2 of 3 judges have declared the fight a draw and 1 of the judges have declared Canelo or Bud Crawford the winner.

On your story about the corrupt judge, this proves that Las Vegas does not want Canelo to lose. However, Las Vegas also does not want Bud Crawford to lose hehehehehe. They might pay 2 judges to make it certain that the fight will be a draw hehehehe.

It’s easy for a fight like this to end in a draw if both boxers are very competitive. In fact, a draw favors the promoters since it opens the door for a rematch, and more fans would be interested after seeing how close the first fight was.

We can’t deny corruption exists in boxing, it’s been reported many times in the past. But without solid evidence it remains speculation.

The real question is, if you believe a draw is possible, would you be willing to risk your money on that result?

As far as I know, both are under Turki so it's not that the promoters are going to win if the fight is competitive. Although it's obvious that we the fans are more happy to see a rematch if that fight is really take close and we are divided on who should have won the fight.

Good question, it might be good to throw some money in a draw, just like in the Barrios vs Pacquaio fight. It ended in a draw and we all know that it's like 9.x odds if you catch that betting line. Hard to comment on the corruption as it is a open secret in boxing.
