Some day gas and crude oil will be a thing of the past. With innovations here and there. In your own opinion what will replace gas and crude oil in the international market.

I doubt gas and crude oil can become irrelevant in the world. The world power are controlling this market in a way they won't want something different to take over. The Saudis will do everything in their power to keep crude at the top of the market and every other thing will just be sharing what's left of the market. Many other fuels and energy has been developed but yet it can't overthrown the market share that crude and gas has and that's because the cartels don't want that to happen. They're benefiting so much from this that they're ready to sabotage any other source of energy that'll contest the their share of the market.
I think it’s time to visit the saudis and discuss with the cartels 😂
But seriously, I don’t see any other source of energy taking over anytime soon and currently the world relies so much on crude and this bi-products, so I don’t think other energies would easily take over not when gas is still affordable by the common man.
Some of these other energy sources like the solar is almost unaffordable for the common man and if the common man can’t afford solar and can afford crude and it’s byproducts, what source of energy do you think they would go for ?
The saudis have maintained the crude power in the market over the years and just as @brainboss already said, I think they will do everything to make sure they remain at the top just like every other person or cartel would do for their business .
