Rivers State is always known for political crisis but what has happened in Rivers State for the past five months is worst than a military coup. An elected president suspended an elected governor and the assembly members
Even though you are creating this thread way late into the crisis up to an extent we can assume that the crisis has almost died down, i can say that what haappened in Rivers state is nothing different from what is happening in any part of the country where just a selected few dictates how a state is to be run and decides who is going to be in charge of the state. it is just like what is happening in kogi state where the former governor of the state Yahaya Bello ordered current elected members of Kogi state house of Assembly to obey the current governor without a single form of questioning even if they do not undestand or aggree with the policy that the governor brings. just looking at such instruction tells you that he, Yahaya Bello brought in the incumbent governor who he can control and hence the reason for such a statement.
All our elected office holders came in through croocked means and can only stay through such means. Similaye Fubara came in as a result of imposement of him on Rivers people by Wike. the expectation from Wike is that Fubara will be obidient to him. it is because of fubara's disobidient that this whole crisis started. they are all fighting for their belle and not for the good of the general public. we never had a thing as democracy right from the onset and this is nothing close to it.
