The winners of last seasons Europa competition will be playing in the champions league so we will not be having them play in the europa this season, the two English teams in the europa are Aston Villa and Nottingham forest, theses two hopefully brings some liveliness to the Europa League this season but in their own league which happens to be the Premier League, they are both considered average teams but to many other teams in the europa this season they are ahead and we hope they perform as such.
Nottingham Forest could pull off an even bigger surprise in the Europa League this season, as they also pulled off numerous surprises in the Premier League last season, even though they ultimately finished outside the top four. And I also hope this season the team can again produce more impressive performances in both the Premier League and the Europa League, although maintaining consistency in two different competitions is always difficult for any team. But everyone hopes the Europa League can be more competitive than last season and not solely dominated by Premier League teams.
Nottingham Forest have indeed shown capacity in the premier league and going by the doggedness, I'm expecting them to do well in the Europa League. Although they are different tournaments and the coach may not have sufficient data of the club they will be playing which makes me wonder how they will be able to cope. I remember when Leicester won the EPL and the next season they went to champions league but were trashed out of the tournament as if they do not matter. It was a different ball game for them and reality dawn on them so fast.
