Rivers State is always known for political crisis but what has happened in Rivers State for the past five months is worst than a military coup. An elected president suspended an elected governor and the assembly members

Judging from your post history, I can see that you're more interested in political discussions than any other things here. I don't know what triggers you to create this thread now because this River state issue is long forgotten and the River people already get use to the situation waiting for the suspension period to be over.

In as much as the president action/decision was bias and unfair to some extent, it was very necessary to restore the state back to normalcy from political tensions in the state. If you can compare the incident to military coup and even assume it is worse than coup, then I can confidently say you don't know what military coup is. Coup claims lives and no one dare to question whatever decision is being taken, citizens would be deprived of their rights and movements restricted. If you've ever witnessed a coup regime, you wouldn't have the gut to compare it with a mere suspension of a governor.

I don't support Wike angle or Fubara angle but Mr president took the appropriate decision despite it appeared to be favouring Wike. You should move this thread to a child board politics and society under the main board. I wonder why you chose to post this on the main board when you are already familiar with politics board.
