I expected Chelsea win but not with this many goals. What if Palmer was not injured then I guess the score line would have been different and we could have counted more goals than we saw.
…Or they could have been fewer goals if he had played. You never know.
João Pedro was on fire tonight along with his other Brazilian teammate. It looks like Chelsea might slowly turn into some cool destination for South American talents. I know they drew against Crystal Palace in the first game, but I think Chelsea might be among the title contenders a few months from now.
Chelsea gave their best in the match, you could see the hunger in them. Neto and Enzo, two players in my FPL were instrumental to their success in the match and I'm happy I have them in my team. Although something still seem off in the attacking line of Chelsea, that team co-ordination that confuses the defense of the opponent is not there yet. Maybe with time we will be seeing more improvement but surely Chelsea is a team to beat this season.
The season has just started and Chelsea have only played two matches, so it would not be right to say how Chelsea can perform in the future based on the performance of only two matches. With the players they have in their team, we can consider Chelsea as a balanced team, especially their defense position seems quite strong to me. They should work more on their striking position because we have seen them miss some good chances. Although Chelsea won the last match by a large margin. There will be many difficult matches ahead where half chances will have to be converted into full chances, because when Chelsea play against big teams, they will not get full chances, as a result of which they will not be able to get ahead of the opponent on goal difference at that time. There are young players in the team and this is Chelsea's strength, only the manager's job will be to create a good relationship between these young players and manage the players on the field according to the right direction, only then will this team achieve a lot this season.
