The game ended in favour of Hoffenheim with two goals leaving Leverkusen with their only goal they got in the first half. This is disappointing but it feels like something we should have expected actually from a coach like Ten Hag. Initially it felt like it was just pre season and later it was just the first game of the season but today we are seeing that even the teams performance on the pitch generally is completely poor so there is literally nothing to even think about here, I just hope this decline does not last the longest and make Leverkusen fall back to an underdog position.
I was skeptical about Leverkusen in Ten Hag so I avoided betting on the match. However, many gamblers lost money today. Despite Hoffenheim being a weak team in the Bundesliga, Leverkusen lost the match. We have seen Leverkusen win in the last 4 matches between these two teams. It has been a long time since the team dropped points against Hoffenheim. And I am not surprised to see such a performance from Leverkusen. We have seen such weak and inconsistent performances from Leverkusen in the pre-season matches as well. The bonding between the players is quite weak. This is going to be another unsuccessful season for Ten Hag.
