EDIT: And regarding the BC profile logo accounts - yes they are generally paid promoters who have it in their interests to make BC look a reputable company. That's how this forum operates. It's a murky inhumane place.
They are more of advertisers and not promoters. A promoter is one who is heavily involved in active pushing and persuading users to join a particular service, and they may even put up some incentives such as bonuses or discounts.
If I came to your inbox and offered you to use a certain service for some discount/bonus, that would make me a promoter. An advertiser here doesn't do that. In fact, it looks so weird to shill to other users a service that one has in their signature, especially if they don't even use it.
The forum is a good place and services that scam users get called out, but you just choose to look at it the other way. The problem here is while there are some genuine accusations, there is a multitude of false accusations as well. The best way to genuine cases resolved is by using mediators that can look at the evidences from both sides. That is impossible in this forum.
