A Democracy is like a step towards Dictatorship. It is essentially a group dictatorship, already. If Trump doesn't lift the democratic republic back up before his term is done, Americans will need to fall back on the one thing that they should be using already... the difference between a 'person' and a 'man/woman' in law.

I don't think it is fair to reduce democracy into a single small pigeonhole of majority rule voting for all topics. The traditional definition of democracy is a government or rule of the people. Even many libertarians or anarchists consider their systems to be a system governance or rules of the people. There is a contingent of people who are trying to change the definition and frankly I don't get the point. Telling people you are against democracy isn't going to gain any support ,and I don't consider it helpful linguistics even if it did.Watch the 3-minute video.

I advocate for a Caroasi Cooperative Republic, and I certainly consider it to be a democratic form of government that is of the people, by the people, and for the people much more so than a traditional Republic. I consider it to be the most democratic form of government as of yet fully detailed by anyone, and no voting is actually specifically required for the structure to work, it only helps to establish consensus, which could be done by other ways including opinion polling or even unanimous consent.
The point is that the traditional definition of Democracy is not what the current US Democracy has become. And it moves away from the definition of Democracy more and more everyday, except that Trump has slowed it down from happening a little.
Originally, only control that the people had was through their representatives. But now they don't even recognize that their representatives are crooks who want to enrich themselves more than govern the people in fairness. Democracy has become group Dictatorship because the people were talked into signing up with Federal Government in all kinds of ways. The formation of the country, the Constitution, never had that in mind.
The people have signed up for a Dictatorship, and all that is left is for it to gradually take them over by changing the language in government. This was never meant to happen at the beginning.
