Guardiola's roulette was at play after game 1 despite winning in good fashion, he had to bench Doku and Silva for precisely the reason I'm still yet to understand, if it's not broken why try to fix it ?
It is just what Guardiola does. He always tinkers with the squad depending on what his opponent plays. For me that is plain over complicating in situation where you have a top 5 club in the world. That tinkering already costed him CL games in times when City was winning PL.
He really did a lot for the football and teams he managed but sometimes it seems he is his worst enemy. I will never understand how Foden didn't play more minutes over the years.
