I agree with you, I love people to indicate interest about learning Bitcoin and for me to teach them, right now Bitcoin speaks for itself and doesn't need much preachers. People only regard or value what they go for and not what someone brings to them. We've seen a lot of ponzi schemes come and go, that's why newbie that doesn't understand Bitcoin won't value it if you're bringing it to them than when they come to you for the knowledge.

Any investment that's got to do with going online might sound or look shady to a lot of people, particularly in our country Naija where online scams have become a norm, this has made people feel sceptical about online investments, so taking Bitcoin to them might not really be such a great idea, because they might just feel like you're coming to pitch another online Ponzi scheme to them. But it's different when they come to you seeking for knowledge about Bitcoin, that way, they must've already had the interest and you wouldn't have to go through the stress of convincing them.
