The scoreline actually deserves a woooow. Nothing I had expected as this result dismissed my expectations. Tottenham Hotspurs attackers are really doing a beautiful job in this game. Although the game hasn't ended yet it still has 45 minutes for more actions and Manchester City can probably equalize the scores because I don't really trust Tottenham Hotspur after watching them lose to PSG from their 2 goals up.  If City could get an early goal in the second half then they can at least get an equaliser.

Man City still dominates the match, but in terms of chances created, both sides are not far apart. Tottenham leading by 2 goals already shows the progress they have made. They do not play like they did last season. Or perhaps Man City is still going through a tough time. There is still time, and maybe Man City can score a goal; otherwise, they might face criticism.
Ordinarily, Manchester City is a possession team by their tactical football pattern it's still going to have dominance of the ball. Although they came back to the second half with full force on Tottenham Hotspur but couldn't correct their mistake, not a single goal to console themselves. I think this city team is still not fully back to a strong form entirely, the defense and goalkeeper were really terrible.

They are a possession team, but they don't have the same versatility they had more than a year ago. When Manchester City plays the exact same all the time, it is easy for their opponents to anticipate the next move. See how they have problems creating chances for themselves despote players like Foden. They have the ball all the time and carry it to the box and then you can see how they can't come up with the final perfect pass. I doubt it is a lack of movement because Pep Guardiola understands how to instruct his players. For that reason I believe that they need more tahn just one single strategy. Tottenham knew what to do to suppress Manchester City attacks and as soon as teams like Tottenham are able to convert their small number of chances into goals, Manchester City can quickly be screwed. Tottenham just served the league the right game plan.
