What an amazing judgment here. Because Real Madrid won the game only 1-0 and because you say that the coach before him has done better, Alonso is not serious about this job. This is a forum or here it is a topic for La Liga fans and I have an idea what people must be thinking when they read a post like this. As if anyone takes on a job at Real Madrid without being serious. Those two things are mutually exclusive to begin with.

It's unwise to say Xabi Alonso isn't doing a good job at Real Madrid and still be quick to say so.
A 1-0 win isn't an excuse for saying so, as it still takes time for Xabi Alonso to find his best rhythm in managing the team.
The results haven't been optimal, and Xabi Alonso still has a lot of work to do, but judgment shouldn't be rushed.
Coaching a big team like Real Madrid isn't easy, as the pressure is much greater.
It takes time to get a handle on the situation, and I'm sure Xabi Alonso will gradually improve.

I wasn't saying that. I was answering a post when in which it was said that Alonso is doing worse than his predecessor and that Alonso is not serious about his job, which doesn't make sense of course.

However I think that Alonso won't have an easy time at Real Madrid at all. He has a few names that read like the best of the best and Mbappe is one of those players, but the whole composition of the team is not the best in my opinion. I am looking forward to Alonso trying to find the best formation for that team and the best overall tactics.

Real Madrid had a time when they were perfectly instructed and every player filled a particular role in the game, but now they lack some qualities and they have redundancies, like Mbappe and Vinicus Junior being very similar players.
