These newly advanced teams from the lower division are creating surprises. Barcelona was fully dominating the match but effective defense and counterattack made Barcelona nearly lose it. Atletico Madrid was too made to share the points with Elche. It's not that these teams would come in and just take the lead but the difficulty in playing them for larger teams could be due to their lower exposure to that team and their strategies. With teams playing each other more, they'd be more ready to handle the teams like they do to other teams they are used to.
Right before the beginning of the season, immediately after their promotions I knew there was more strength coming into la liga this time. If you watched the promotion matches, you won't be surprised at what they're putting up now. Even though they still need time to get fully adapted into the higher tier of the Spanish league, I can say that they are really showing good qualities already. Levante leading by 2 goals was not unexpected to me, but I also think that inexperience was one of the major reason they lost the game to Barcelona even though Barcelona had the possession, Levante was more interested in point. They almost secured one point before the unfortunate own goal that lost the game.
With time I'm sure that these teams will get to the end of the season and possibly wouldn't see any of them relegated as some other teams that go back to relegation.
