Evident when taking a look at the games and notice the only true beneficial stats have been removed: Hit rate & Volatility. Some providers listed these stats but people started being able to make informed decisions which led to many bad slots (the vast majority) being ignored. RTP matters but I'd say it comes after preference, volatility and hit rate, in that order. RTP is basically a tax on every unit of currency you play, so it is relevant. Even if you do not play 1 slot for thousands of spins, you may play a variety of different slots in a session and the difference between 94% and 97% becomes evident then, though not explicitly felt.
