Salary earners end up spending their salary buying from the business owners making the business owners to get profit from the business while the salary earners end up with nothing.

"Salary earners"(I prefer to call them employees, but whatever), end up buying goods and services with their salaries, so they "end up" with goods and services instead of nothing. Grin
It all comes to the risk/reward ratio. Having a job is a low risk/low reward, while building a business is a high risk/high reward activity.
Having your own business means more freedom, but also more responsibility and there's always the risk of going bankrupt.
Having a job is less risk and less responsibility, but you have a boss and you could always get fired.
Some people have high risk tolerance(so they start businesses), while others have low risk tolerance, so they prefer having a job.
A job also gives you a false sense of security. Grin
