I don't think so, the referee was being fair with that decision since he was called back by the VAR officials. Having a close look at the action, you'll see that the ball hit the lower part of balde's hand that was away from his body. It was a clear penalty and the referee showed an unbiased judgement by awarding it.
This was a clear penalty and right from the VAR you would notice that Alejandro Balde’s lower arm wasn't closed to his body but was exposed. I think the referee made the right decision in this situation and there was nothing controversial about the handball. At the final whistle Barcelona was able to get a comeback after the penalty was converted by the Levente player, and I was glad for barce that they didn't let the situation affect their control over the game.
That's a penalty, I don't know why certain people are whining over it including Barcelona players and coach. I don't know why Barcelona is such a petty club, always whining and crying even after winning. Pedri and Flick were crying yesterday that it was not a penalty simply because it happened to Real Madrid last season and it wasn't awarded. As if they are not aware that their team has gone away with so many decisions that's supposed to be against them. Petty club!
