Atletico Madrid should look for a new coach. Diego simeone has been the manager of Atletico Madrid for a long time. But he could not be very successful. The team became La liga champions in the 2020- 21 season. But after that , Atletico Madrid fans did not see any more success. He was the coach of Atletico Madrid for 14 long seasons. Out of these , the team won only 2 La Liga titles and one Copa del Rey title. In the last two seasons, Atletico Madrid's squad was quite strong. Even then, the team's performance was very irregular. We can see the same thing happening again this season. Atletico lost against Espanyol in the first match and shared points with Elche in the second match.
I agree with you. I think it's high time they changed their coach and brought in a new one because there's not Diego Simeone is doing with the team. He should leave now and let someone take charge of the team before players begin to lose the zeal to play and start thinking to move out.
Their first game of the season and they lose Espanyol and as if that wasn't enough, they went on to draw with Elche, a newly promoted side. It's quite clear from the looks of things that this season would be a very tough one for Atletico Madrid so yeah, a new coach should be considered.
