The arrival of Amorim changed everything, as Rasmus Hojlund didn't live up to the manager's expectations, leading him to decide to move to Napoli, where he could slowly rebuild his career if given the opportunity to play.
Ruben Amorim is not stupid. As much as he gave these players within the last six months to prove themselves, he is well aware of players who are not quality enough for the culture, growth and rebuild of Manchester United. I'm happy they're parting ways although I want to see Rasmus Hojlund go smash it wherever he ends up. He might want to fight for the club, but last two seasons was enough to prove himself.
Ever since Hojlund make that big money move to Manchester United life has not been easy for him, well I think it the expectations that affect his performance at Manchester United. Ever since he has not been a player you would expect 15-20 league goals from in a season, he does not have that quality, a season before a move to Manchester United he only managed to score 9 league goals for Atalanta so I was shocked when Manchester United splashed such a big amount on him.
Now Manchester have Benjamin Sesko, he his expected to lead Manchester United upfront this season, and they have the likes of Cunha who can also play as a striker so his playing time is definitely going to be limited if he stays. It a good thing for him if he get a move away from Manchester United this season and of course we all wish him well.
