Its easy to check, put a blind fold around person eyes and see if he/she can call just showered 0 perfume people gender correctly via gender smell. Who here have tried it? 
I doubt they'd be able to smell anything. If the person had just washed without any scented soaps or shampoos a person probably just wont have any smell at all, or more more importantly one human noses cant pick up.
