Just want to share something I’ve observed in our community. I know a few people who are consistent gamblers, yet they also work really hard. It seems like gambling actually pushes them to hustle more, because they need money to fuel their gambling activities.
I don’t know if I should also picture things from the same area you do, but I have also seen someone who does extra tasks just to get extra pay in order to sponsor his flexing lifestyle, which, if he were to be spending from his regular income, would affect his family. I don’t know if I would say that his lifestyle also pushes him to work harder or that the hardworking energy is already in him and just needed a push to bring it out… but even without gambling, I think such a type of person can still be able to do those extra jobs to make extra income if they have the opportunity, as long as they know extra income can come from hard work.
