The season started very poorly, losing at home to Cremonese, whose overall strength isn't much better than AC Milan. I highlighted AC Milan's defense in this match, which I felt was very poor, resulting in a lack of organization.
However, there's no judgment on the first match, although I do have some doubts about AC Milan's prospects for this season. Massimiliano Allegri still has plenty of time to bounce back.
AC Milan are indeed in poor form overall, so against any opponent, they will certainly find it quite difficult to win and even more difficult to equalize when they take the lead. And I also hope that in some of the other matches, AC Milan can display a different style of play from their first match so that AC Milan can return to a better position than last season. As for Cremonese, they haven't been a team that has performed consistently throughout the season, although their first match result at Milan's home ground was quite surprising.
Massimiliano Allegri seems to need a little more time to get AC Milan back on track and back to being a title contender this season. The defeat to Cremonese showed that AC Milan defense is still very fragile, conceding goals easily due to a lack of concentration. Meanwhile, I think the midfield and attack have improved, they are quite creative and have managed to create many chances.
I think AC Milan will be successful in finding their best rhythm going forward. With them only focused on domestic competition and without a busy schedule, it should be a little easier to make happen. With the squad depth they have, AC Milan should be able to return to being Scudetto contenders, and at the very least Allegri can guide his team to a top four finish this season.
