Moving on to another match, it was quite impressive to see Villarreal's performance in the second week of La Liga against Girona. After their previous match where they secured a convincing victory over Real Oviedo, Villarreal once again put on a goal-scoring display. The match is not yet over, but Villarreal already leads 5-0 over Girona, with their star player T. Buchanan having scored a hat-trick against Girona's goal.
Girona is back to their default mode, a mediocre team in La Liga.

It's weird actually, they don't make a big change with their squad, they're still playing with almost the same squad like the last two seasons. I was expecting they should be like Nottingham Forrest, they're still perform since their squad are almost same like the previous season.

Villarreal is Villarreal, we know they're quite strong.

Girona displayed very poor defense, especially in the first half, where Villarreal players immediately pressured Girona's fragile defense. This was evident in the first goal, which was scored due to a mistake by Girona's back line, which was unable to control a poor pass that was not even particularly strong.

This is a highly satisfying victory for Villarreal, which will undoubtedly boost the team's confidence to compete at the top of the table this season. I anticipate that Villarreal will continue to secure significant wins in the coming weeks, as their upcoming opponents are not particularly strong teams. In the next match, they will face Celta Vigo, a team that is not highly regarded.
