It is surprising that Manchester United are still struggling even after spending an amount more than £200 million this summer. After watching two games United have played so far this season I noticed the lack of goals, their attack is much better this season but they still lack a bit of creativity and good finishing. This is the part Amorim needs to work on now, it is either the current signings work on their creativity or the club goes back to the market in search of creativity.
Manchester United struggles no matter what they do. Despite the high spending on new signings every season, Manchester United can't seem to find its former glory. Altay Bayındır was excellent in this match, and there was a lot of negative criticism about him in the previous match. Bruno Fernandes gave away a disastrous penalty.
Manchester United scored from a corner kick, but the penalty was missed. Beyond that, they lacked a proper attacking force after spending so much money to build a squad. They still have major problems scoring goals. The money spent is high, and the return is poor.
