After struggling to win their first league game of the weekend on Tuesday against Osasuna, Real Madrid tonight thrashed Oviedo in the club's first away game of the season. I'm actually not surprised because I know the club manager Xabi Alonso is still test-running the squad at his disposal and trying to find out which players should be regular starters and the positions that best suits them.

As a Real Madrid fan, it was exciting again to see my darling club win convincingly but even more entertaining to see that my favorite player Kylian Mbappe is still firing from all cylinders. Three league goals already from current European boot winner who still appears very hungry for more goalscoring awards in the new campaign.

I watched the game, Real Madrid played well, they put a lot of pressure on the opponent, in the first half they couldn't have much space to score goals, maybe because Real Madrid's attack wasn't very creative, Rodrygo didn't look like a striker, he was more making assists and wasn't in the privileged position to score a goal, so he left that game without scoring a goal and given the fact that Vinicius Jr. came on to replace Rodrygo and managed to make an assist for a goal and even scored a goal, this will undoubtedly make the Real Madrid coach in the next game put Rodrygo back on the bench, unfortunately he wasted the opportunity he had in that game

I believe the coach purposely put Rodrygo in at the start of the game so he could prove his worth, but unfortunately he couldn't and it was very clear who should start in the game, now when he sits on the bench while Vinicius Jr. is playing, I hope the press doesn't create articles criticizing him and with a lot of fake news.
