Right, this could be one of the best scenarios that might happen in the future.

a. Bitcoin becomes a hedge on inflation. Just like what we have seen in pandemic or even war
b. Countries see it as a new national reserve
c. Ordinary people investing a portion of their saving/pension into Bitcoin, maybe at least 1%-5% of their wealth
d. Becoming a payment scheme
e. Hyperbitcoinization, replacing FIAT
I don’t see any trend toward mass adoption. On the contrary, I see that even back in 2017 more people around me were holding bitcoins than now. Back then, many of my acquaintances were buying bitcoins. Even if it was just for speculation - they still bought them. And now, as far as I know, only one of those people still has bitcoins. All the others gave up on them long ago. And they’re very surprised when they find out that I’m still in bitcoin.
So much for hyperbitcoinization.

That just proves that not everyone is capable to hold bitcoin, and you’re just lucky that you’re still able to manage and understand the risk that bitcoin involves.

Bitcoin’s global adoption is what we’re actually heading to, but I don’t think it’s happening soon since it still demands a lot of work and processes. There’ll be probably a lot of bitcoin investors losing hopes in their investment before this global adoption finally takes place.
