Anyway, I think it's quite exaggerated to say about having the first bitcoin course to be taught there. Maybe as a University, it does makes sense but there have been a lot of Bitcoin courses all over the web and done by the early adopters and people who contributed a lot of it.
Yeah, the KOL is wrong, it's not the first-ever bitcoin course. Not even as far as universities are concerned as OP has already given an example of a university who came first. I'm glad OP corrected it in the title — it is more appropriate that way.
I do wonder if the KOL just put it wrongly or did it on purpose to make his post more catchy. 🤔 or maybe he actually had no idea, though I must say one quick search is all it takes to know.
Maybe they meant to say that this is the first ever Bitcoin course at this university, not worldwide? Even in this case it is a bit too strongly worded in this case too given the prevalence of these courses elsewhere as Potato Chips said.
