I have gambling friends whom I share information with, I'm in a platform where we as friends share gambling tips among other things. Sharing and comparing tips is fun and we are not obligated to accept what is unanimously agreed, everybody has to decide what they want to bet on. Gambling is not like serious mathematics or serious decision making that lives can depend on so me and my gambling friends can casually discuss about our bets nothing serious. I agree that it's fun to discuss about sports and bets it makes friends with such common interest to bond.
It is common to have people you share gambling predictions with especially in sports betting. Sharing ideas about game predictions sometimes yields positive results. But there are no rules that wins will be shared among us. Winners might decide to give out gifts to members if they want, but it is not compulsory. But these discussion or analysis groups are not my friends because we are just bonded by gambling. I also get game from prediction sites or social media platforms.
