Crypto is gradually turning into a more ordinary asset, much like stocks or forex.
I don't believe that Crypto is turning into an ''ordinary asset'' with low volatility because regardless of institutional investor's interest in cryptocurrency but there are still cryptos with high volatility even though it is difficult to identify them but however, you cannot expect an asset like bitcoin to be highly volatile because the price is too high for any party to influence easily but it doesn't mean that it cannot double in price after every halving.

I checked the highest price of bitcoin in 2021 (after halving in 2020) i saw that the price was around $67k though i don't know if i'm correct, then the next halving was 2024 and the price got an ATH of $124k in 2025 which is after the halving, it's almost x2 of what the price was in 2021 so i don't know why you think that crypto is gradually turning into ''ordinary asset''.
