Liverpool paid £64M to buy Nunez but they sold him for to Al Hilal for £46M. Liverpool lost money on his transfer fee. Nunez is a good striker he can score goals in the SPL. Al Nassr beat them in the Super Cup semi but Al Hilal will be a strong team for the SPL season.
Nunez wasn't good enough at Liverpool, because I think selling him for that amount is a success. Darwin Nunez was a striker who truly harmed Liverpool. Liverpool didn't buy strikers just because he was there. However, he couldn't contribute to the team's goalscoring potential. In my opinion, he did the right thing by going to Saudi Arabia, because no major European team would pay that much for him.
