I won't overreact to this first because Oviedo is not a difficult opponent for Real Madrid and also 2 goals came in the final minutes of the match to ensure Real Madrid won 3 goals and I think overall Real Madrid's performance has not been that impressive, if they meet a tough opponent I am pessimistic that Real Madrid can overcome them.
Oviedo background as a newly promoted club meant that Real Madrid had no problem beating them. In this game, Real Madrid looked unstoppable, which is understandable in my opinion, given the vastly different strengths of the two teams. Real Madrid played with full enthusiasm and managed to score three goals through Mbappe and Vinicius. This victory was also very important for Real Madrid because their rivals (Barcelona) who played earlier also managed to win the first two games.
I found Real Madrid's playing style very appealing. They kept pressing, not giving their opponents any space. I was also impressed with Mastantuono and Arda Guler's performances. They performed exceptionally well under Xabi Alonso. It's been a good start for Real Madrid under Alonso, but their strengths haven't been fully tested as they haven't faced a comparable team.
