Real Madrid have had a grate game yesterday against Real Oviedo, I was absolutely impressed with Xavi Alonso team selection and he showed some ruthlessness by dropping Vinicius Jr, And Alexander Arnold which was a wise move for him, I just think that he is trying to exercise other options and opportunities for his team to have a perfect game and balance, after struggling to win that first game he played, I think he saw that the team isn’t performing at his best level that he wants them to perform, he is trying other options and test-running his team, right now I think Real Madrid and Xavi Alonso are still trying to get his first eleven team, it will take sometimes for him to have a starting team, Mastantuono seems to be a grate acquisition for Real Madrid, and they seems to be missing Jude Bellingham as well. Well let’s see how his experiments goes for him. It will be a long season for both Real Madrid and Barcelona who seems to be the tittle favorites and will always fight for the Spanish League Titles.
For xabi Alonso to strive in this real Madrid team it's necessary that he step on some top players toes that are not giving him what he wanted, and the game against real Oviedo was his first to make such bold move. By looking at this real Madrid team they have all it takes to win this year Spanish laliga but where the problem lies is the team adapting fast to the playing system of xabi Alonso, and we all know that time is what is greatly needed for any coach to strive even though xabi Alonso knows that his team can't afford losing games regardless of what ever they are doing because Barcelona which is their greatest challenger or rival is not slowing down, so getting the desired result will really help to kill the pressure away that normally builds when a new manager comes into the team.
Finally the likes of vinicious junior and Alexander Arnold will have to step up their game because they will now know that the team are now doing better in their absence, so their is a higher probability that they might be relegated to the bench completely if they don't step up their game now that it's not too late, so I see this decision of xabi Alonso as a warning shut at this top players to step up or be dropped.
