Who else noticed that while Bruno Fernandes went to take the penalty, Ruben Amorim bent his face down and became fixated on his shoes more than what was going on on the pitch? It seemed funny, like he wasn't so confident in his players and their ability to deliver. I tell you, Ruben would have more eyes on him now that it's a fresh season and even with the players that have been signed, there would be lots of expectations.
Amorim knew if Bruno would be missed the pen. So he showed such gesture. It's funny to see he seems feel so stressed with the way his club playin. Bruno will cost Amorim's job if he's still playing. It's hard to imagine he has been praised so much at Sporting, but went down so hard after he became MU's new manager.
That's what the Premier League is like. He was a manager who shattered all the statistics in Portugal, yet couldn't even score a single point per game in the Premier League. When he took over at Manchester United, Manchester was in a poor state, and I don't blame him for that, but judging by the first two matches of this season, the Portuguese manager deserves some criticism. They lost the first leg despite playing very well, but we didn't see anything like that in the Fulham match. It's time for Manchester United to recover, and I think they need to sign a goalkeeper before the transfer window closes.
