They can make it to the finals if LeBron comes back in Cleveland they have the pieces to make it, but who will be traded to LA, Stephen really hate lebron, since if they make it to the finals and fail again he will be the one laughing and tell BS to lebron, this guy make a lot of money, talking things about LBJ, he make a living for years, he should be thankful to lebron, but is the cavs willing to take LBJ back? they should he delivers the title and conference finals to the team.

as we can see on the salary of the players in the team https://www.basketball-reference.com/contracts/CLE.html

I don’t think LeBron will be able to get a max contract. If he insists on playing with the Cavaliers, then he’ll have to take a smaller salary, which I don’t think he’d agree to. Mitchell, Mobley, and Garland are already eating up most of the salary cap.

Correct, I doubt any team will still give Lebron a max contract when he finish his contract with Lakers. Lebron is still good but not good enough compared to his prime that is worthy of trading with team star player just to acquire him.

Cavs need to toss some of their main player if they want Lebron and I think they will do that if ever the Cavs will perform badly and choke on the playoffs.

Honestly, Mitchell is always choking on playoffs.

You guys really think LBJ need a max contract to be with the CAVALIERS? He will not go to that team for the money,
He will retire there and play a year or 2, Money isnt and issue anymore with the King. All he will do is the last run before he ends his career.
He can get a minimum veteran salary if he like it.
And if money is not the issue then why stay with the Lakers? The Lakers still has his son and I think that will be good enough reason for Lebron to stay. Otherwise if he moves then the Lakers might trade Bronny or just keep him in the G-league (which they have done it already). He still have Luka for the upcoming season and they have built a solid team as they acquire a true center already. And if everything fall into pieces and they have a good run, then there is no reason for Lebron to simply go to Cavs again, regardless of a max contract or not because his chances are high with the Lakers to win another ring.
