Apparently they didn't.
Like I said in my post, this issue is triggered when you try to write massive data. For example moving a zip file of 50GB at 60% SSD uses and more. You should immediately uninstall this particular version of update and not write any large data for the time being.
So this is what could result in a problem. Thanks for sharing this vital info. I’m not really into having huge files on my laptop since I mostly just use it for browsing and small downloads, but yeah 50GB is quite large for me. Still, I’ll keep this in mind so I’ll remember not to do it when the time comes that I need to transfer huge files.
