I don't think Ten Hag is to be mentioned among the title contenders because he has no pattern no good decision making. Someone that gambles every game and leaves their success in players full decision. It is not wrong to state that Bayern Munich would retain this trophy again at the end. Ten Hag has started with a loss against Hoffenheim and he might still lose more frequent. Bayern Leverkusen team was not as perfect, it was Xabi Alonso's tactics that moved the team of which Ten Hag does not have such tactics and keeps making excuses. Well, this is a game of football nothing is completely impossible.
Literally he seem to be handling the team like it is his first time as a Coach, even when the team had a first timer, they did much more better and now they are at a point where we cannot say that they are even sure of a decent finish by the end of the season, at a point it is beginning to be clear that somehow Manchester United was not the problem but maybe he had some work he is supposed to do on himself but has not taken time to factor that and put it into consideration. I am only been hopeful Leverkusen do not get far worse than they have been so far.
It is clear here that the problem is not with the squad, but with Ten Hag poor tactical abilities. His Bundesliga debut was immediately tarnished after being defeated by Hoffenheim. This result is clearly very surprising because last season Hoffenheim almost missed the relegation play-offs and finished in 15th place in the standings. I know it's still early in the season, and Ten Hag still has plenty of time to improve, but losing to a team like Hoffenheim is incredibly embarrassing for a team like Leverkusen, especially since the disappointing moment happened at their home ground.
