Liverpool paid £64M to buy Nunez but they sold him for to Al Hilal for £46M. Liverpool lost money on his transfer fee. Nunez is a good striker he can score goals in the SPL. Al Nassr beat them in the Super Cup semi but Al Hilal will be a strong team for the SPL season.
Not really, Liverpool did not loose actually, consider his age now and when he was bought, his performance and what he has helped the team achieved, then look further if he had stayed in Liverpool some more, probably the next two years, how much would he have been able  to contribute to the team and will he still be as optimal? In a competitive environment like the premier league and champions league, Considering his age by then, put all of this together and you will see Liverpool made a timely move on this.

The club must have considered everything when deciding to sell players for less than their purchase price, especially regarding the contribution and performance of the players, whether it aligns with the costs incurred for the players' salaries, or if they need to look for new players.
Nunez's performance last season was not good, but in the Saudi Pro League, he can showcase his quality and become a productive striker. Hopefully, it can be that easy. After all, he just needs an adaptation process because the competition in the Saudi Pro League will certainly not be as tight as in the Premier League.
