Australia played very poorly in the first two matches of the ODI series due to which they lost the series against South Africa. In the third match, Australia's performance was sky-high, they scored 431 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in 50 overs. Australia will definitely win today by a huge margin, but the series result will be a 2/1 win for South Africa. In today's match, the Australian batsmen played brilliantly in the beginning and each of the top order batsmen scored a century, due to which they collected a huge score.
Four batsmen came out to bat for Australia and the individual performances of these four batsmen show how serious Australia was in the third and final ODI and how keen they were to win. If Australia could have made a comeback in the second ODI or the first ODI like they did in the last ODI, then they would not have lost the series against South Africa. Australia's poor performance against South Africa made me feel bad as an Australian fan but I believed that Australia would come back in the third match because they always perform well in tough matches. However, it was really good to see such an exciting match, especially since I had only seen a few parts of Australia's first innings and at that time I felt that Australia was going to do something big today.
