In the first semi final, Adelaide Strikers Academy needs 58 runs in 57 balls which is developing into a cliff hanger match and any team can win from here. In the 2nd semi final match, Pakistan Shaheens needs 51 runs in 20 balls. They have only one wicket left so they may lose this one.
At the end both top spot team of table got eliminated and Perth Scorchers Academy become champions of the tournament, it's really hard for a team to defeat two top team back to back at the same day, but Perth Academy really does, first they beat Pakistani shaheens for the second time at the tournament and then beat Adelaide Strikers Academy at the final with a decent margin. I do believe Baxter Holt has played a huge role through his maiden undefeated century in Perth victory as opponent were really closed to match the required, but some how bowlers get them below by just 15 runs behind and that how won the final.
When Perth Scorchers Academy innings finished it looks like it would be so easy for Pakistan Shaheens to chase it down because as we have seen in the group stages games their batting line up as well as bowling line up was too strong and 155 should not be a big deal for the Shaheens to chase it but back to back wickets were losing and Pakistan lost the game.
I think if in the middle overs when Pakistan were losing wickets, at that time every new player was looking for shots, if they would prefer running between the wickets then the results might have been different.
