I don't think anyone mentioned Pujara's retirement news from international cricket.

Indian batter Pujara ends international career

IMO, he is modern day test legend but most of them filed to recognize this or he didn't get the limelight like other players because test format is losing it's value due to the domination of 20/20 especially IPL but he stood like a wall on many times when team needed and there are many performances we can pont out like 2017 Ranchi, 123 in adelaide but the best of all is Gabba (77) when India breached their fortress and don't foget that he took 11 blows in that innings. Smiley

If we ever want to show a youngster what Test match temperament looks like, then just point to Pujara. His grit and patience defined an era of Indian Test cricket.
Last 2 tours ishi ke wajah se jeete they and I wanted him in the recent BGT tour as well ( only Australia, no where else).

Same old story, No farewell match. There are some serious structural problems in the Indian cricket, no players want to take voluntary retirement and every time management kicks em out with same old drama. In recent time, 4 big players retired from Indian test team and no farewell match for them. Would have been great if there was some communication between players and management.
