The way Al Nassr lost, was a humiliating one after spending that much on players. They were clearly the better team, and yet they still failed to win. That is the problem they have, even when they are the better team, they lose, and they can't afford to do that much. Ronaldo lost the chance to get one more cup, and it is really not looking good, been years since he got one, they got one on his first year and nothing after that.
I really do hope that for his mental sake, they finally win something this year. Like if you were to compare the teams, I would say they actually have a chance to win this season, the whole league, they are good enough to make that happen. I can't see that right now though if they play like this.
I find Ronaldo very unfortunate for failing to win another trophy. He has lost three finals, two of which were on penalties, one in regulation time. He has even scored in each final, but it hasn't been enough to help his team win the title because Al Nassr lacks a strong defense and an experienced goalkeeper. This can be seen when Al Ahli is behind, but they always manage to come back, ultimately leading to a penalty shootout. Al Nassr still has time to improve the team and put this failure behind them and focus on the league so that at the end of the season they can win the SPL trophy.
