I received an email saying that the offer is no longer valid. I’m seeing online that people who actually tried to accept the offer are being told that it was a bug in the system, so I guess Tesla isn’t trying to buy them back after all. A good loyalty test though. It showed me that I really am happy with my purchase.
This sounds more than logical. It was pretty weird, at least for me, that Tesla wanted such a thing for their flagship model. Indeed, you can say that it was some kind of test, and I wonder who wanted to take the deal and make this change. I mean, it's the best model that they have. Why would someone want to give it back after such a short period?
A lot of influencers financed the hell out of these things (along with many others) and once the cool factor wore off and the monthly bills became reality, they are forced to go with something cheaper. @DirtyTesla being a good example. He lost his job and traded his Cybertruck for a cheaper Model Y to continue being a Tesla influencer. This after a year of constant Cybertruck videos saying how amazing it is.
I just gave mine a bath and vacuumed it out. I’m getting pretty quick at it. Those giant super absorbent towels are amazing.
