It was really a massive goal for Inter Milan against Torino this night, didn't see that many goals coming but i knew that Inter Milan will win because Torino is a mediocre team with no solid structure. Hope Inter Milan will not repeat what they did last season by winning most of their matches with high scores but in the end, they were unable to win the title. Cristian Chivu seems like he will make Inter Milan better than they were last season but until they meet competitive and strong teams in the Serie A, that is when we will test his ability. Inter Milan will face Udinese in their next match before meeting Juventus, i believe they will win Udinese and if they can possibly win Juventus after their match with Udinese then i will have a conviction that they will succeed this season under Cristian Chivu.
Chivu successfully led his team to a convincing victory, and of course, that win is a good start for facing more competitive matches this season. Torino is actually not an equal opponent for Inter Milan, the 5-0 score illustrates the clear gap in strength between the two teams. Going forward, Chivu only needs to maintain his team performance to stay consistent, especially when facing other big teams.
The next match against Udinese probably won't be much different, Inter Milan will most likely secure three points easily again. I think the match against Juventus will be the most ideal to assess Inter Milan true strength, and in my opinion, Inter Milan will still be the favorite. Last season failure was certainly very disappointing, and Chivu will definitely try not to repeat the same failure this season.
