It's not good to work extra hours to manage money for gambling, but if it was for supporting the family or managing finances, then it would definitely be good. Is it any kind of income to earn money by working extra hard and then gamble with that money and then lose money after betting? There may be other ways to have fun, but it is not something that has to be done with money earned after a lot of hard work. If he had worked hard, of course he would have saved his hard-earned money, but instead of doing that, taking a gamble is an uncertain and unguaranteed possibility that is not worth supporting under any circumstances.
It’s simple, if the money we’ve earned through hard work isn’t something we can afford to lose, then we shouldn’t be gambling with it. For those of us with regular day jobs, finding extra cash to gamble can be tough, especially when side hustles aren’t easy to come by in our area. A smarter approach might be to set aside a small, fixed percentage of our monthly income specifically for gambling, so it doesn’t interfere with our essential expenses.
