Jokić or Luka, but it would probably be the same for me if i were to bet money. Jokic contributes a lot to the team, he always gives advice to the players, and sometimes he even speaks instead of the coach. Other players don’t have the kind of quality that Jokic has. In general, it’s expected that he will be the MVP, but we’ll see.
Thing is, since Slovenia has 0 chance to win anything in this tournament so does Luka. We all know how it is, if the team performs bad, the individual player (even if he scores like 40 ppg) has 0 chance to win an MVP award, always been that way. Sure, if there was the biggest miracle of all time and his team goes to the semis or something there would be a chance but other than that there is absolutely no chance.
I agree that everything depends on the team, not on a single player, but miracles do happen. Luka is an excellent player, we’ll see if the team can keep up with him. With Serbia it’s different, there literally isn’t a bad player there, and they all play as one. That’s why Jokic is definitely the main favorite for the MVP award.
