Getafe had taken the lead since the 15th minute through a goal from Adnan Liso. The situation was actually quite tense when a Getafe player made a mistake and conceded an own goal at the end of the first half. However, at the start of the second half, precisely in the 51st minute, Liso scored again, turning the score around and Getafe regained the lead, which lasted until the end of the match.
Getafe showed their best qualities against Sevilla, playing much better than Sevilla, who lost momentum after the Getafe own goal. This guaranteed a poor start for Sevilla, as they had dropped six points in their last two matches. Without any changes in the next match, Sevilla would have struggled even more. For this season Sevilla has no changes for progress and the defeat at home against Getafe I think is enough to prove that Sevilla will fight again to escape relegation this season even though it is quite early to say but after seeing Sevilla's strength and performance in the last 2 matches I am sure it will happen.
